I am currently involved in the construction and carving of a laylight. It is for a major restoration project on a Manor House on the Gloucestershire / Worcestershire border.
Art That Made Us
I was filmed two years ago for a landmark 8 part television series Art That Made Us. It aired in 2022 and the thirty second long video of my hands carving was used in the second episode, `Revolution of the dead’. The series presents an alternative history of Britain, told through art.

Magical creatures from literature find companionship
The client who commissioned this piece has been waiting patiently for months. The creatures form the base for an adjustable bookstand in oak that has already been constructed. They will be ready to wreak havoc very soon. I can also carve any image either natural or fictional to enhance your book stand or any other functional item of your choice. SH.
