The Rococo Gardens in Painswick commissioned cabinet maker Paul Hodgson to make a chinoiserie style bench to be positioned within the gardens. It was made in honour of Rococo Gardens Trustee Tim Toghill and was carved with a simple inscription ‘Tim’s Bench’ to create a lasting legacy of his love for the area and the gardens themselves.
Marion Mako, Garden Historian, kindly invited me to attend the inauguration party at the Rococo Gardens on 13th June this year which celebrated the life of Tim amongst his family and friends.
Below is a copy of the Rococo Gazebo magazine edited by Marion who very kindly included features on both myself and Paul Hodgson.
